This policy explains what personal data is collected through this website, why it is collected, how it is handled and what rights you have. It applies to annakovalerskaya.com and to inquiries made through it.

What is collected
Information you send
When you use the inquiry form, you provide your name, email address, optionally your role or company, the type of work you are asking about, and the description of your situation. You choose what to include in that description. Please do not send confidential documents, personal data about other people, or sensitive information such as health or financial records through the form. If those are relevant, they are handled later under an engagement agreement.
Information collected automatically
The site uses privacy-friendly analytics provided by Vercel to count page views and understand which pages are read. It does not use advertising cookies and does not build a profile of you. The website host also keeps standard technical logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability.
Why it is used, and on what legal basis
- To read and respond to your inquiry, to decide whether the work is something I can help with, and to propose a first step. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
- To deliver and administer engagements, including sessions, written reports and payment. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- To keep business records and meet legal obligations, including accounting and tax records. Legal basis: legal obligation.
- To keep the website secure and to understand how it is used. Legal basis: legitimate interests in running and improving the practice.
Your data is not sold, rented or used for advertising, and you will not be added to a marketing list because you sent an inquiry.
Who processes it on my behalf
A small number of service providers process data strictly on instructions, under contract:
- Formspree — receives inquiry form submissions, filters spam and forwards them by email (United States).
- Google (Gmail) — the mailbox in which inquiries and correspondence are received and stored.
- Vercel — website hosting and analytics.
- Stripe — payment processing, where a payment link is used. Card details are handled by Stripe and are never seen or stored by me.
Some of these providers are based outside the United Kingdom. Where data is transferred internationally, it is protected by the safeguards required under UK data protection law, such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long it is kept
- Inquiries that do not lead to work: kept for up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Client engagements: the engagement record and the documents produced are kept for six years after the engagement ends, which reflects UK legal and accounting requirements.
- Accounting records: kept for the period required by law.
Confidentiality
What clients tell me is treated as confidential. Client situations are never published, quoted or used as examples without written permission. Any case material shown publicly on this site is either simulated or anonymised and approved.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to ask for deletion, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these, write to blackphoenixstrategies@gmail.com. There is no charge, and you will receive a reply within one month.
If you are not satisfied with how your data has been handled, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. You can also complain to the supervisory authority in your own country.

This policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
